CUES mission of educating and developing credit union future leaders is at the heart of CUES Emerge.

Step one is to apply to the CUES Emerging Leader Program. Up to 36 applicants will be accepted into the online program which includes live instruction and an opportunity to collaborate with other participants.
Three Virtual Classroom courses will be held every other week. These interactive online sessions are designed to build knowledge and understanding through connections with subject matter experts and peers.
Three Mastermind sessions will be held between each Virtual Classroom course. These cohort discussions and work groups will support the application of learning and guide business case development.
The educational portion will culminate with each participant creating and submitting a business case.
All participants that successfully complete the course and business case will receive a Certified Credit Union Manager designation.

2022 CUES Emerging Leader
A judging panel will review all of the submitted business cases and select the final five to move forward with the competition.
The final five will further refine and evolve their business cases in preparation for the online pitch show.
The final five will present their polished business cases during a dynamic online pitch show.
The judging panel will evaluate the pitch show presentations and select the top three emerging leaders. All three of these individuals will receive a tiered educational and coaching package.
The judging panel will also select the ultimate winner. The 2024 CUES Emerging Leader will receive an educational prize package including an award presentation.
