Competition Phase

Upon completion of the education phase, a judging panel will review business cases for those self-selecting into the competition phase and identify the Final 5 to move forward in the competition. The Final 5 will further refine and evolve their business cases in preparation for the live pitch show.

Show your stuff

The Final 5 will present their polished business cases during a live pitch show. A panel of judges will identify the Top 3 and ultimate 2024 CUES Emerging Leader.

Live Pitch Show

October 2 • 11:00 Pacific, 1:00 Central, 2:00 Eastern

This elaborate online production will be coordinated and facilitated from Currency Marketing’s studio in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with the Final 5 participating remotely. Tim McAlpine, Currency Marketing’s Founder & CEO, will be the host and the whole production will be broadcast live on the Internet.

Top 3 prize packages

Each of the Top 3 winners will receive a tiered educational package plus a leadership assessment and coaching to support continued development and growth within the industry.

  • The CUES educational package will provide the winners with options that move their individual growth and learning plans forward, and are taught by professors of some of the top executive education programs in the country.

  • The leadership assessment and coaching will be provided by Envision Excellence, an executive coaching and leadership development organization.

  • The ultimate winner will be recognized as the 2024 CUES Emerging Leader during the annual CUES Awards online event in the Fall.
