The finalist voting phase is a wrap!

Thanks to every one of our entrants for their stellar efforts throughout the application and finalist voting phase. You guys have been relentless in driving voters to the site! The voting database has been thoroughly audited and all duplicate e-mail addresses have been removed. There were no signs of tampering or block voting. Now some details about the vote:

  • 15,507 votes in 10,455 ballots
  • 3,561 votes in the West
  • 3,250 votes in the Midwest
  • 1,537 votes in the Northeast
  • 1,371 votes in the Southwest
  • 3,453 votes in the Southeast
  • 2,335 votes in Canada
  • The highest individual vote-getter had 1,024 votes

Here's some info on the six entrants who recieved the most votes to become Regional Finalists:

  • Four are female
  • Two are male
  • Three are in their 20's
  • Three are in their 30's
  • Three work for credit unions with under $1B in assets under management
  • Three work for credit unions with over $1B in assets under management
  • They encompass a variety of different positions

Here's some quick web stats for the statisticians in the crowd. Since launch, there have been:

  • 22,388 visits
  • 190,583 pageviews
  • 8.51 pages/visit
  • 00:03:43 avg. time on site
  • 2,986 referrals from Facebook (who says credit union people only use Twitter?)
  • 1,120 referrals from Twitter
  • 883 referrals from CUES
  • 117 referrals from Currency Marketing
  • 116 referrals from LinkedIn
  • 106 referrals from CU Times
  • 83 referrals from FootballGuys.com (someone was obviously quite creative)

Not too shabby for a niche microsite promotion!

What's next? The finalists will be revealed on the site by this Friday. Thanks so much to everyone who entered. It takes courage to put yourself out there and we applaud you all.
