Southwest #3: Kelsey Balcaitis

Synopsis: My name is Kelsey, I'm 23 years old, and I'm the Community Education Specialist at A+ Federal Credit Union in the lovely city of Austin Texas. I've been with the credit union industry for about 6 years now and have been fortunate to see the industry from different perspectives. I've worked as a teller, as an intern for CUNA and the Filene Research Institute, and now behind the scenes in a marketing department.
At A+ we ask "What's your dream?". We encourage our members, employees, and anyone we meet to share their dreams with us. These dreams vary from paying off debt, to retiring in Hawaii, to going sky-diving.
My project would take this a step further. I want to create a community of dreamers. A place where people can share their dreams, see what other people are dreaming, and offer advice and help.
This community would get people on the right path to achieving their dreams.
As Henry David Thoreau once said, "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined."
